I'll be glad to take pictures and send them to you, just ran out of time this morning before teaching. Any questions or anything, please E-mail me at

Andy at Asmithtuba dot com.

What are the dimensions that tuba needs to be to fit in the flight case? Hoping my MW 3450 would fit.

20.25" Wide, bell is cut for 16" bell
38.5" Long

Your horn won't fit in the case without lots of modification. I have a 3450 and had that same discussion with myself!

Pre US Army Band Workshop Bump. I will be in DC, so please let me know if I should bring any of these mouthpieces for you (case we can discuss, only if you're seriously interested)

Barth Helleberg - Essentially brand new, maybe used 2 or 3 times. $60
Canadian Brass Arnold Jacobs - Has been dropped on shank, but been repaired. $80
Canadian Brass Arnold Jacobs - In great shape, some insertion marks. $80
Canadian Brass MB-83 - Essentially Brand New, maybe used 2 or 3 times. $75
Giddings and Webster Kronos Euro - Essentially new, maybe used 2 or 3 times. $150 (with pouch)
Laskey 28C Euro Shank - In great shape, barely used at all. $75
Perantucci PT-72 - Older version of mouthpiece, but in great shape. $60
Schilke Helleberg II - Shank has been turned down, but in good shape otherwise. $60
Schilke 66 - Nick on oustide of rim, doesn't effect playability, shank has been repaired. $50

Calzone Flight Case - $500
This is a flight case that was designed to fit a Meinl Weston 45S F tuba. It will also fit a lot of German style F tubas. I don't own this tuba anymore, and it's time to clear some space out of my house. Dimensions of the case are:

20.25" Wide, bell is cut for 16" bell
38.5" Long
