Looking for a 4 valve Eb Sousaphone

Post by armytuba »

Hello, Tubenetters! I'm looking for a 4 valve Eb sousaphone. In lacquer or satin/silver plate, doesn't matter. If anyone has one for sale, please contact me at armytuba@gmail.com Thanks!

There's one on Dillon's site under used sousaphones.

Nice Conn with Original Case

Post by Gongadin »

Robb Stewart has a beautiful old Conn in its original case for sale, if you haven't already set your heart on a King from Dillon's.

I bought that sousaphone and Robb is doing a valve job before sending it to me. We'll see how it plays.

I tried the silver 4 valve King at Dillon's and it needs a valve job to be remotely playable. That small King wrap is a little tight too. The lacquer "Serendipity" sousaphone would be better.

Everyone, thanks for the emails and replies. I've found a Conn Eb sousaphone (3 valves only) which will do me just fine. :D
