FS: TubaMM/Mack 410 C Tuba

Post by PatrickYoung »

Hi All,
For sale is my TubaMM 5v C Tuba. This was my first C tuba and served me well during my undergrad studies. It plays so well in tune and is of the same quality and standard of the Mack Brass 410 C Tuba. Although it is from TubaMM (a company now out of business), the tuba was sent to me in great shape and was kept that way. This is an excellent tuba for all ages and play styles. My reason for selling is that I already own a quintet and orchestral horn and no longer need this extra tuba. It has been sitting in the closet collecting dust and needs to be played! With that said I plan on getting the valves moving back in action and getting it prepped to sell. It is in fantastic condition and only has a few scratches and a SMALL ding behind the bell. If purchased, it will come with the brand new alteri bag and the original hard case it came with. Price is $1600! -- If you'd like any more information about it please let me know!

Patrick:
If I had the cash I would see if we could bundle your 410 and your 182. What are you now using as your quintet tuba?

Looks wonderful! I'm looking to trade my Jupiter 584 CC for a CC with rotors, but it's so hard to find someone to trade. This looks like the perfect horn too :(

Hello,
I am a Junior in High School and really need to upgrade my tuba. I currently play on a Mienl Weston TU 25 Bb tuba. I need to upgrade because I will be going into tuba performance and auditions are coming soon. I I made Allstate last year and really want to continue the rest of my life (hopefully as a soloist) even though its really hard..... Both my parents are band directors so money is an issue in getting me a tuba, but the tuba you have looks amazing. Where do you live, i would like to play the horn before anything else is done. I live about 2 hours away from Mack Brass. I live outside D.C in Virginia. I really hope you consider me.
Thank you very much!
