Selling my like new MRP lacquer CC tuba , asking $11,900.00 OBO.

If you like the B&S PT6 then you will love the MRP as it is a PT6 on serious steroids with a better sound and intonation, yes, a much better sound. What makes this horn such an improvement over the PT6 is the use of the fafner bell and bottom bow. Although the PT6 has great intonation, the MRP is even better. One intonation tendency of the PT6 can be the F, F# and G will ride high at the top of the staff, on the MRP it does not. If your looking for a great major league audition horn or just a great tiba, then this is it. Since i have no desire to take any auditions I really don't need a horn like this as it is just sitting gathering dust and really needs to be played.

One other note, if you have ever owned or played a PT6 then you play this the first thing you will notice is this is a noticeably lighter tuba. The biggest issue I had with all the PT6 tubas i have played or owned was they were so heavy. The MRP is a joy to carry in comparison if weight is an issue.

Pics on request, please contact me directly via email of phone.

Regards

Tom

Everything good Tom said about them. MRP_CC tubas are fun to play like the old Cerveny CCB601-4 but in-tune and have a 5th rotor. For the rest of you after the first smart guy buys Tom's horn, Dillon Music just got a new one of these and is bringing it to Ft. Myer on the 3rd of February.

Have played Tom's horn and this is a great example of this horn. Very efficient with great pitch. If I wasn't set with a large CC I'd buy this in a heartbeat. Also the mechanical condition is excellent and I'm picky with how my horns are set up, Matt Walters and bloke can attest to that.
