Meinl-Weston THOR model 5450 for sale. Serial number 4339XX.

Purchased new by me and in like New Condition
Like New Unitec Lightweight Flight Case (never used for air or bus travel)
New Meinl-Weston gig bag.
This is the 19" bell version.
One very light scratch where your right arm crosses the main bow/bell of the horn.

Great playing horn with excellent tuning.

Total playing hours, 20 or less.

$11,900 or best reasonable offer

New – the horn alone sells for over $16,000 and the Unitec lightweight flight case sells of $1,300 and the gig bag would sell for about another $300 or so.

I am selling the horn because it is just not comfortable for me to hold and play – it is too large for me.

I'm offering to personally deliver the horn to the buyer if it is a reasonable distance.

Will ship via freight, insured. Will not ship for play testing, but available for play testing in southeast Michigan. Buyer pays shipping.

Bump for another price drop on this great instrument.

Polite question -- why not send it to Baltimore Brass for consignment? More exposure and potential buyers, more comfort for buyers with this huge amount of money (even with a killer deal!)... you could probably ask MORE, and still come out on top after paying their cut. I'm not sure how many NEW Thor's they sell, but if this one is just as good, costs less, and can go home today... might be pretty appealing to buyers. Just an idea.
