I had two mouthpieces for sale. I have a Mike Finn 3 and a Houser / sellmansberger imperial. The Finn is sold, please disregard those parts of the post.
The Finn is in good condition. I acquired it used a few months months ago in my quest for the perfect mouthpiece. Too big for me. It has a round shank opening, but the end of his t has a grange dip in it. I tried to capture it in the pictures. The rim is gold plated. I'm asking for $55 shipped within the US.
The sellmansberger is something I purchased new last summer. It's an imperial shank and cup with a number 2 fair dinkum 32.6mm rim. If you like a Helleberg, this is better. It's like a Helleberg but it's stainless, has a thinner rim, gives me a little better tone and projection, and it's a blokepiece. (EDIT - The shank is an "Imperial euro shank" (larger than Bach shank size) That information was something I hadn't remembered when creating this post.
As you can see in the photos it is in like new condition. And I definitely babied this mouthpiece while I've had it. It just never gave me the results I wanted on my new Tuba and was too close to the helleberg for me to keep it.
I honestly hate to part with it, but I need to afford the mouthpiece I purchased at the army conference last week. It will include the black mouthpiece case which came with it.
Asking $175 shipped in the USA.
I ship USPS in boxes and well-padded. I ship from Birmingham, Ohio and send you the tracking information via email. Finally, I prefer PayPal but am open to some alternatives. Trades will possibly be considered, but I really need to cash.
Thanks!
