Edit February 12: Price drop to $1500 for tuba and bag. Motivated to sell quickly.
Selling a Mack 410 CC in Lacquer with a Gold Brass bell. I also have a red Cordura Cronkhite case sized for the Miraphone 186. I am located in Sioux Falls, SD but am willing to drive a fair distance to meet with a buyer. I would prefer to not ship as I have zero experience packing a tuba.
For the tuba and case I would like $1500obo. New the tubas are $2095, and the case would be about $400 if it were still in production, so I think this is a fair price. If someone were interested in only the tuba or only the case, I would be willing to sell them separately as well. Preference would be given to a buyer for both though.
Well, after talking with my teacher and looking at options for next year, I' have decided to try and part with my tuba. I am not in any rush to sell it, but having the available funds would be more helpful, especially as I can continue to play on my school's horns and am not at the level where they are holding me back
I got this tuba last summer in a trade for the horn in my signature since I was looking to try a CC horn and this came up at the right time. I love the horn, but I would rather have someone playing it and enjoying it while I am gone than have it sit at my parent's house.
