Hi all,
case is sold pending funds, the tuner is still available!
I've got an Mts 1207v case for sale in very good condition.
Here's the quote from their website "MTS designed this case to fit horns with an max length of 37" and a bell size of 20". Some of the common horns this case will fit are, St. Petersburg, Conn 2-5J along with 12J and 15J, Meinl Weston 2145 and Meinl Weston 18 to name a few." I've also heard of these fitting the Miraphone 1291, 1292, and 1293, so about a medium sized case.
I was going to keep this case and I modded it a little by taking out a few foam padding blocks, so I could fit a small F tuba in it's gig bag inside the case. I have hence switched horns and no longer need the case. The mods I did (about three of the interior blocks of foam were taken out) would be fairly easy to undo. The fabric is still there and would just need to be stuffed with new foam and reglued. Other than that factor the case is in excellent condition and I will send photos on request.
They come brand new at $579, and after tax and shipping my guess is that would be more like $650+. I would normally be asking $300 for it, but because of the blocks of foam that I took out I'm asking $175 + the cost of shipping via greyhound.
The tuner is in like new condition and really works incredibly well I just don't use it as much as I thought I would. It has a real needle which I like and it beeps when you get it really in tune, which makes it a fun game of seeing how many beeps you can get and how fast you can get them. It also does pitch drones. They sell new for -about $100 and I'm selling mine for $70 and I'll cover the cost of shipping. Comes with a carrying pouch.
Thanks for looking at the ad!
