SOLD: Tuba Exchange 5/4 BBb w/hard case near NYC

I am looking to sell my Tuba Exchange TE-1915. The tuba is in great, playable condition. I bought new, and have used it for nearly four years. I am selling not because there is anything wrong with this tuba, but because I'm looking to switch to a CC tuba.
The first three years of playing the tuba, I only wore gloves, so the lacquer finish looks very new with only a single faded spot on the side opposite the bell. There are also a few minor scratches and dings along the bottom, and a sizable dent in the side opposite the bell (the dent has no effect on the sound produced).
This tuba has a thick, dark sound and is easy to center, despite the large size of the horn. The tuba has a big sound in the low register and comes with an optional fifth valve replacement to switch from a flat whole step to a flat whole + half step. Tuning is mostly solid; the fourth slide is always pulled, and the third for Db/C# using 2 and 3.
Specifications:
Finish: lacquer
Size: 5/4
Bore: .830"
Bell: 18"
Valves: 5 rotaries
Also, a rose-brass lead pipe.
The tuba has also had a recent chem clean and rotary valve alignment done by Matthew Walters at Dillon Music.
I am asking $2500 for the tuba and its hard case.
I go to school about an hour outside of NYC. Email me at evanpetratos AT yahoo DOT com or private message if you are interested.
