SOLD -PT-606PS (GR 41), MTS Hard Case, Soundwear Bag - $8500

Post by threedognate »

Selling a great PT-606. Purchased in 2006 from a selection of 4 horns at Custom. Baer PVAK Valve Alignment Kit added a few years ago. Chem cleaned in December. I've played one wind ensemble rehearsal and one concert on it since then. Comes with an MTS hard case and Soundwear Professional Tuba Bag (music/accessory bag included, but attachment clips are broken) - both in GREAT shape.

Horn plays wonderfully! I've used in a wide variety of settings - orchestras, bands/wind ensembles, brass ensembles, quintets. Big sound with delicate features. Used as my exclusive Horn for almost 10 years.

I'm located in north-central PA. 16933. Willing to travel a bit. I have a good shipping container, but I'm not interested in shipping for trial without cash in my hand. This container will ship safe, but not Greyhound.

I will be at the NABBA contest March 9 (evening) through 12 (leaving around 8am), if any would like to give this tuba a whirl in Fort Wayne.

I purchased a great Hilton 345 BBb a couple of summers ago and have completely neglected this instrument. SOMEONE needs to give this instrument some attention.

Asking $8500. Will consider offers for the package. I'm not interested in selling the case or bag separately.

I've heard from a couple of folks who are interested in trying out this horn in Fort Wayne this weekend (March 10-11). I am traveling with the Mansfield University Mountaineer Brass Band.

I will arrive Thursday evening. Rehearsing with the band 7:30-8:30 Thursday night and 8:30-9:30 Friday morning. I have students performing solos and small ensembles throughout the day on Friday. The band is competing in the 3rd Section (9:45am-1:00pm, Saturday). Leaving at 8:30 Sunday morning. I am available throughout Friday and Saturday, possibly early Sunday.
