This is a great horn for young tuba players as well as veterans looking to downsize their own equipment. This large 4/4 horn can be at home in a chamber setting as well as in a large ensemble. It has the usual C tuba intonation quirks (pull out for F, E is a little flat, pull out for A, G can be a little sharp) and can play evenly throughout the register. There is some normal wear around the horn as well as a few small dents and scratches (purely aesthetic and mostly pre-existing). This horn has been cleaned fairly regularly, the latest being May 8th, 2017 with a scrub and a sonic bath.

This horn has served me incredibly well through seven years of wind ensembles, orchestras, auditions, chamber groups and recitals. I am selling because I have inherited a new C tuba and no longer need this one.
