In search of an F tuba

Post by jonathanb11 »

I'm in need of an F tuba. I have a BMB F tuba I can sell or trade plus some cash as well. Just seeing what everyone has out there :tuba:

A Miraphone Petrushcka would be my first choice.

When I was shopping around for Fs a couple of months ago, Wessex US had a B stock Strauss for $3K, maybe it's still there. I believe Mack Brass has a B&S style F on sale for the same price (very similar, if not the same, horn).

I'm sure Douglas's in nicer though.

I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a Berg too. Great horns from what I'm told.

I found I preferred the 4+2 set up. My horn comes with both a hard case and a gig bag if interested
