Are you sure this is from the early 80s? I thought the "new style" was far more recent than that.

Beautiful tuba, a complete steal at this price.

I was an owner of a model made in 1984. They made together the detached bells with fixed bells.
Mine had a beautiful sound better than the new ones made today.

Photobucket locked me out in the epic fail of corporate stupidity. While they 'say' you can access and download pictures I have not been able to actually get any to download. Anyway, I have decided to hang on to it for now. I may keep playing, it has been a rough summer, and I still do not know if I will continue playing the tuba. If not, I will just post a new ad. I thank the group for all they do to make this forum so much fun. Keep playing.

I love mine. Great smallish 4/4 BBbb. I use mine in Brass 5 tets, Big Band , Dixieland .....Very easy to get around on. Great deal with a nice gig bag.
