Conn 26J Bb BAT $3200 (Sold)

Well the time has come and I have decided to part with my Conn 26J. I checked the serial number and the horn is dated around 1938-39. It has seen some action but I had the horn serviced and dent work done by a tech here in Colorado several years ago. The damage was concentrated to the outer bows and bell of the horn, but that was taken care of. Valves work great and the horn sounds like the typical big recording bass. The horn does not have a case or gig bag. I originally purchased the horn for outdoor gigs but those have fallen to the way-side several years ago and now the horn sits. I may be able to meet you for purchase or pickup but the drive would have to be within a 100 miles or so of Colorado Springs. There are some dents in the tuning slide and a few small ones in the lead pipe which I captured in the pictures. Please feel free to PM me with questions regarding the horn.
