For sale or trade:

An old school F Helicon. A buddy of mine bought the horn several years ago (not clue on where he bought or from whom) and had it put into playing condition by Lee Stofer. He has used it very little sense then, playing it at a gig here and there and doing regular oiling, etc.

As far as brand goes, one of the pictures has a name on it, probably the maker? (IMG_0969) If anyone recognizes the name, please reply and let everyone know.

I would be willing to consider a trade for this horn. Please get in touch with me either via PM or email.

Pictures are located at : http://filebox.vt.edu/users/fpoon/
They were taken with some high resolution digital camera, so they may take a moment to load.

The instrument is indeed a Stowasser & Sohne F helicon, and is quite old. The seller should consult me first, for two reasons; 1) As a simple courtesy, to secure permission to use my name in their advertisement, and, 2) because the the owner, at the time I delivered the not great, but repaired and playable helicon to him, agreed to contact me first if he decided to sell it.
