Hey... I am looking for an F tuba…

NOT a grande-mega-uber-wannabe CC tuba, but a small-ish F, preferably with piston valves and that does not cost a small fortune.

I dont care about the low C and all that or if it was found in Fritz Reiner's uncle's cousin's neighbor's basement apartment.
I dont care what color it is or who has played it before.

It only needs to have 4 buttons and be playable.


C’mon folks… there has to be one out there… don’t make me learn Eb…

There's a guy who posts on TubaEuph (who may also be posting here) selling a new-old-stock 4-rotor Cerveny F for about $1800.

That one is a beauty -- and is along the lines I am looking... but 4K is a bit much (not saying the horn is not worth it).

Weril's website says that they make an F piston tuba. I don't know anything about this horn, but it fits your description. I have never actually seen one. here's a link

I do 98% of everything on my CC, but once in a while (and seems to be more frequently now) I have the need for a small, light, F.
