SOLD- B&S PT-606

For sale is my B&S PT-606P in Silver. I am the second owner of the horn, and it was purchased from Custom Music in 2010. I have owned the horn since April of 2014, and would not be selling it if my finances didn't dictate it. The horn is located in the Akron, Ohio area.
This is the finest example of this model that I have played, and would be the perfect tuba for college students or any player looking for an all-around excellent CC tuba. The horn requires very little slide pulling, which is unusual for a PT-606. The instrument offers little resistance, and has a deep, even tone throughout its entire register.
There is no damage to the horn aside from a few minor scratches near the lead pipe and abrasions along the bottom bow. There are also two very small dents on the side of the horn opposite the lead pipe. The horn has been on a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule throughout its life.
Because I do not have a hard case, shipping is not an option. I would, however, be willing to drive a few hours if needed to sell the instrument. I am not interested in trades at this time.
The price is $7,800, and includes a custom-fit Cronkhite gig bag that I received in August of 2016. The horn currently retails new for just under thirteen thousand dollars, making this a tremendous value for anyone interested in a great CC tuba.
