Hello all. I am selling my Meinl Weston 2165 Warren Deck CC tuba. It is a phenomenal horn and has served me well, but I am ready to make a switch.
This horn was purchased in 2015 from Baltimore Brass. From my understanding it was manufactured in the early 90's, and was used in a regional military band for many years before being bought and then put on consignment. It is heavily used but plays very well. It still has the tone ring, and Sellmansberger light caps were installed before i purchased the horn, making the valve action extremely smooth and quick. I plan to have the horn chem cleaned and some repair done soon as well (such as the imperfections in the bell and bow as seen in the photos). It is a great 6/4 horn and has a huge, smooth sound and great response. It is a great choice for any orchestral player. The horn comes with a large coffin-style flight case. I am asking $9000 + shipping for the horn and the case. I would prefer not to ship, but will if necessary. I am located in Greenville, NC and am willing to drive a fair distance.
I am also interested in a possible trade for a PT6P or similar horn.
You can contact me by PM, or preferably email. (jarrod.briley.216@gmail.com" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank)
