Item is sold.
Hello everyone,
Some issues came up with the house I wanted to buy so I need to sell "the beast". The body is original York, bell is hirsbrunner, valves are Adams. This is a 4 piston, 1 rotor 6/4 BBb tuba. All valves including the rotor are vented. If you are looking for that amaerican tuba sound this is your horn.
On this horn the first valve Ebs can be a bit high and the D below the staff I play third valve. The fifth valve is set up so you can push in the slide and play B and low E 235 or pull it out and get low Eb as 54. Valve section was bought brand new for this horn.
This tuba gets a huge sound without getting super edgy. This tuba laughs at the low range of your CC tubas and it eats Holton 345s for breakfast.
Tuba is located in Hillsboro Oregon. Comes with one of Glenn's cases in forest green. Asking $10,000 or a horn plus cash trade. I have more pictures that I can email, I just have the dumb with computers.
Thank you for looking
