*SOLD!*YFB 621 $5000 OBO, NYC **PRICE DROP**

selling a YFB 621. silver plated. available mid november. Located in NYC. It is an older model from the 90's. Don't know if it matters but this was one of the horns the previous owner won his army band audition on. Of course a good player will make most anything sound good, but this is a fine example of the 621 line.
includes a grey Glenn Chronkite gig bag. No hard case. Prefer not to ship. There are a few minor dings on the bottom bow of the horn which do not affect the horns play-ability. Pics can be viewed by clicking the link at the bottom of the post.
The previous owner told me the bottom bow of the horn was baked in an oven which supposedly opens up the lower register of the horn. The low register is very open and free blowing, and the horn has a nice bassy tone to it but sings in the upper register. Great first F tuba for a college student, or great all around gigging horn for the pro on the go. Nimble, light, tight, and packs a punch.
Reason for selling: will be taking a vacation from the freelance tuba world for a while
