Good luck with your sale - I VERY seriously considered having Thayer valves installed on a Holton TR181 I used to own, but opted instead for the Getzen 3062AFR I now play. This has got to be a really nice horn for someone to pick up at that price.
If I may ask, did you own the horn before the Thayers were installed? If so, how have you liked the response of it since then, below the staff especially? I liked my TR181, but it always felt like there was so much back pressure down there.

I have only owned the horn with the Thayers, but I have played other 181's and found them to have a lot of back pressure like you mentioned.
