FS: Holton 345 6/4 CC 5v $6500

Hello,

I have a Holton 345 6/4 CC 5v for sale. Originally manufactured in 1964 with a 376XXX serial number. I am asking $6500 firm. Shipping (if needed) to be worked out between buyer & seller. It is located the the San Francisco Bay Area.
This is a tuba that was cut down from a BBb and had the 5th valve added. The previous owner thought this work was done by someone at Dillon's Music, but I cannot confirm this as fact.
The tuba plays with a huge sound but is very nimble. Intonation is a challenge - as with many cut 6/4 - but is manageable.
I am selling because I have not been using it. Mechanically it is clean and in good operating condition. It comes with an Altieri gig bag.
