FS: 1931 4-valve Conn 40K sousaphone w/ hard case $3000

Postby jbaylies » Fri Jan 05, 2018 2:27 pm

I bought this 1931 4-valve Conn 40K sousaphone and a hard case from MrBasseyPants a few years ago and it's served me very well.

I'm selling it so I can buy a lighter sousaphone. 40Ks are heavy.

the only work I've had done on this horn was to get the valve stems aligned. Two stems now have shims, and the other two were made from scratch.

I'm located in Brooklyn.

I have been in many a parade hearing John's horn, and can vouch it's worth every penny.
