I am selling my Conn 10J. This 10J is probably the best one left on the planet. The Conn 10J's (little brother to the 20J) became the workhorse for the public school bands in the 60's & 70's.....there were thousands of them. NOW, there are very few left. THIS 10J is fairly rare in that it has a satin-silver finish with areas that are bright silver. It is pitched in Bb, has water keys on every slide, has recently been chem cleaned, has new pads, springs, and nylon valve guides. This tuba is in pristine condition and would make an excellent horn for a student, or Dixieland player (it has the hooks to mount straps so the horn can be played standing).
