BMB 6/4 BBb tuba for sale $3700 OBO

Unfortunately, I need money more than I need a 6/4 tuba. Its a 4 valve 6/4 Big mouth Brass BBb tuba. Valves and slides move very well, and first valve is vented. Has a few dings and dents, and a slight bend in the bell. Easily fixable, but I haven't had time to get the problems addressed since this is my "daily driver". Huge sound, really good intonation, especially for a 6/4 horn. I use it for everything; Band, Orchestra, Small ensemble, Solo, etc. It's super versatile, especially at it's size. Lately I've been using a Denis Wick 1L with great success. Low range takes a little bit of work to get full, but it's manageable. I'm going to get some pictures later today, and maybe even a video. It will come with a really nice green Glenn Cronkite gig bag as well. I really love this horn, but I have drum corps to pay for, and other bills. It's located in South West Florida, however, I'd be willing to drive quite a bit for a serious buyer. I really don't like shipping nice tubas, so shipping, as of now, isn't an option. I am surprised that a model of tuba, like the BMB 6/4 BBb, that is played in performance and on recordings in a premier orchestra is not picked up more often by people who are early in their career. If it's good enough for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra it ought to be good enough for the Phreeway Philharmonic. I'm just wondering.

It's a great horn. The more I play it, the more I don't want to get rid of it. Sadly, life has to come first, and I'm fortunate enough to have another horn to use. BUMP
