FS/FT: Besson New Standard

Hi everyone, I am putting my trusty Besson up for sale today. I bought the euphonium from Horn Stash in Palatine, Illinois and it is currently located near Chicago. The horn is in great shape, and was recently cleaned by Dana Hofer. It has some lacquer wear and a couple dings on the bottom bow, and the bell has been rolled out once. It has a custom first slide lever to help with those pesky Eb's, and a third slide pull ring to move the slide while playing. Has the typical sharp Eb, E and F above the staff but alternate fingerings work well to bring them in tune. I am asking $3500 for the horn and a case. Willing to haggle a little bit. I am also willing to trade the horn for a Willson 2900 or 2950. I will add pictures later today. Please PM me if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hi everyone, the serial number for this horn is 442xxx, which, according to the guys over on Mr. Werden's forum, dates it back to 1968. They also pointed out that the large shank receiver on this horn is custom, as it would've came from the factory with a medium receiver. You can send me a pm if interested and I will add an email as well if you'd prefer: b a s i c h d a v i d 3 AT gmail DOT com
