I am selling my F tuba ahead of going into the Navy fleet bands. This is a fantastic large German rotor F tuba. I won the concerto competition at Arizona State just weeks after purchasing it. It has also served me extremely well in quintet and orchestra. The rotors move very well- I was able to play the last variations in Carnival of Venice last year between 180-190bpm with no lag. You can really sing in the high register with this horn and the low register is solid. I use alternate fingerings for low C (125) and Bb (124) for intonation. There is a small ding on the leadpipe. I did take it to a shop to try to get it taken out but they said 1) because of the location there was nothing they could do, and 2) it does not effect the way the horn plays at all anyways. You can see it in the pictures I linked below. The tuba is located in Phoenix, AZ and I would much prefer not to ship the horn. But, if necessary, shipping would be covered by the buyer. Asking $6400 for the tuba. The tuba was just taken in to be cleaned a few days ago.
