Helping Rex sell his Rudy F he had made custom for him with "gold" brass, nickel slides, and a detachable bell. The bell made it possible for Rex to fit the body in a small suitcase and take the horn on the plane with him. 6 Valves and middle finger of left hand extends the 2nd valve slide.

Asking price is $9,200. Comes with gig bag.

Love the engraving on the valve caps, etc. Definitely not your standard Rudolf Meinl tuba.

No screws... How does the bell attach?

Probably a screw rim bell like a lot of the newer detach bells are today, I feel like this is a superior method since you don't have to worry about losing screws and the connection from Bell to horn is (maybe) more akin to it being a one piece bell. Either way i love it. Especially if he was able to fit the horn in a suit case.

Correct, the bell screws directly onto the body.
