(Sold) 5 Rotary Valve Marzan CC Tuba $1500

I purchased this horn on EBay in November of 2016 thinking that it was a smaller instrument. It plays with a classic Bohm & Meinl dark German sound. The 5th valve can be configured three different ways: as a second whole step (B flat switch), flat whole step (ideal for compensating for the lower register), or as with Miraphone CC tubas two whole steps. You can do all of the pitch adjustment from the tuning slide which is at the end of the valve line on top. It comes with a hard case and a Blessing 24AW mouthpiece. This horn currently needs valve work. It is not ready to play. That is the reason why I’m offering this horn at the shown price. I previously listed this horn on TubeNet in April of 2017.
