For sale: Hirsbrunner HB-12 (HBS389) large bore F tuba in great condition.
This is an incredible instrument through and through. If you are familiar with this instrument you know the quality of craftsmanship that comes along with this brand and how hard these can be to find. The horn is in great condition and has good intonation. A couple small pings, all smaller than a dime. I will photograph them as best as I can, and a very small drop of silver missing inside the bell, not visible while playing, otherwise the silver is completely in tact and brilliant. This is a great large tuba and plays great in quintet, orchestra and solo. The low range is unreal, and replaced a small CC for many applications when I had my larger horn. Asking $10,000 + shipping, negotiable. Offers considered. Horn is located in Colorado. New these horn go for over 20k. Comes with a gig bag and Walt Johnson hard case.
