Hi All,

I am looking to sell my St. Petersburg 209N CC (nickel plated), which was purchased from the Tuba Exchange as 'new' in 2014. The horn has been played regularly over the past 3 1/2 - 4 years and is in great condition. Typical wear (as expected) is on the instrument. Also included is a Tuba Exchange gig bag which came with the instrument. I do not have a hardcase for the horn. The instrument has been regularly serviced by Dana Hofer at his repair shop in Des Plaines, Illinois.

This horn has been great for me over the past 4 years of playing. I am interested in selling the horn so that I can "upgrade" to a larger, 5/4 CC horn.

About myself: I am a 2014 graduate from the University of Illinois and studied with Mark Moore (Professor, Tuba/Euphonium at the University of Illinois) and Colby Fahrenbacher (USAF Band). I purchased this tuba following graduation and have played it in several community bands across the Chicago area for the past 4 years. While not a music major/professional, I have enjoyed playing this tuba and it certainly has been worth the money over these post-college years.

Due to not having a hard case for shipping, I am interested in a local pick-up for this horn. However, I am willing to travel within the Midwest if that is suitable for both parties. I live in the city of Chicago, IL.

I am asking $3,500 OBO for the horn which also includes the black gig bag.

Please feel free to post below or private message me with any further questions about the horn itself.

Thanks!
