Wow! I knew Cerveny went back a ways, but I thought this was a relatively new model - received with considerable enthusiasm too, the way I remember it. I looked up the historical context, and apparently that would have been during the reign of Samo, a Frank who came to the area as a merchant and ended up uniting the Slavs against other groups that had been giving them a rough time, and in the end also held off the Franks under Dagobert. He was good for maintaining trade relations, though, which must have helped the tuba business, as the Franks, Anglo-Saxons, Lombards etc. must have had a steady demand for them.

About 8 years old. I remember when he bought this, which was around when I owned mine.

I’m looking for a Kanstul 90, and I came across this post. I don’t suppose it’s still available is it?
