Hi all Tubafreaks,
Probably you have seen I'm selling my Melton 200 Spezial.

Of the same reason I've also announced in a German Tuba site.
The other day I was contacted by a man who was interested in the tuba.
His first e-mail looked quite normal, written in German, asking for more pictures.
I sent some to him together with more information about the tuba.
Within two hours he responded and was highly interested in the tuba.
He wrote, in French, that he has a wife who is a music teacher.
Soon she has birthday and he wants to give her the tuba as a gift.
Unfortunately he has not the time to come and test it.
Therefore he already now asked for my bank account number and all personal data.
As soon as he get this information he will transfer the money and contact his transport company.
To further show his thrustworthiness he also attached a copy of his ID-card.
My suspicions were already awoken, his story seemed to be very unlikely.
Yet he has not got any personal information.
Instead I asked two other guys on the same site to see if they also had been contacted by him.
They responded directly.Yes they had and warned me strongly to take any more contact.
"It's all fake, don't take any contact!!!!" they both wrote.
This is to warn you all for him if he tries to contact you with similar stories.
Hopefully it helps you to avoid him.
Lars
