JP-RATH two-rotor bass trombones (new, with warranty)

We have a couple of these here that we're willing to offer at end-of-year prices.
Please private message or (if you don't mind) email for pricing.
To date, no professional, amateur, or school (who've received these from us via mail order)
has asked to return one of these for a refund.
I personally have found the tuning to be very consistent with very few quirks, and
the workmanship to be top-notch.
Red-rot should never be an issue with the 80:20 alloy brass.

TubeNet formatting will likely cut off the playing slide bow from the picture.
The complete picture and specs can be seen here:

I'm proud to own one, and I let owners of those $6000 basses play mine as often as I can, because I love to see their faces when they see that I paid 1/3 of that for this instrument and it's just as good or better than theirs

What is the relationship, if any, between these models and the Rath R900 models? Said differently, how is Rath involved in the development/production/distribution of the JP models?

I know they are built in the same factory (Michael Rath himself told me that) and he designed leadpipe and other aspects of the packer/rath line, even the French horn. (I have one of those too)

The rath series is a different instrument entirely. I have a r400 and it's very good. Never played a r900, but I'd like to try one out someday

Interesting, thanks Mark. I’ve heard many good things about both the R900 and the JP versions.

I bought one of these to dabble in bass trombone. It's a great horn.

It's also easily cuttable to Bollinger (flat-G) tuning for the second valve. Not much playing difference from the high dollar basses.

To the person who continued to make offers around or below our cost,

The sale is now over.
We're thinking our pricing may still be the lowest found.

one in stock...
I've been holding on to it because two local people have been sniffing around it.
I'm weary of holding on to it for one or the other of them.

Send me a p.m. for price.

This is a top-quality 2-rotor inline bass trombone with superb intonation (rather than a bunch of slide-justifying for individual pitches), extraordinary workmanship, and an amazing Brazil-style case. The price begins with a "2".
All info is back at the beginning of this thread.

There are probably still $500 - $800 bass-trombone-shaped objects on eBay.
