Willing to hear offers.

Realizing that commenting on this post is, in effect, bumping it, I thought I'd add some data to this to spice it up.

On average, each bump has been posted at 12:50.

The most bumps occurred at around 11:00, after that at 12:00.

From 13:00 until 22:00 only 9 bumps were made, and between 22:00 and 0:00 there were 6 total bumps.

From 0:00 until 11:00 no bumps were posted. I presume the poster decided to take a break, or the bot just was programmed to post at this time.

On average, between 3-4 days elapse before the next bump occurs. Periods during which no bump occurred, the posting stated that the sale was pending.

The last "bump" was on January 13 at 12:28. The post afterwards does not count, as it contains more than "bump"

Based on this data, should the tuba not sell in 2020, we can anticipate another 104 "bumps" until it does.

And you ask yourself: Why in the name of Yamayork would anyone do this? To wit: I am bored, it's winter, and I live in Macedonia. I can't practice right now, it's cold outside, I was at a show last night, and it was great. Also, how can you go wrong on $3 bottles of wine, $2 platefuls of kebapi, beautiful mountains (when you can see them through the Skopje smog), and more brass music (in the summer) than you can shake a cleaning snake out (something many brass instruments need in this country -- well, mostly among my Roma friends).

Generally, I bump this post every Monday and Thursday at around 06:00 EST. I've taken breaks while sales were pending. All of those instances consisted of me waiting for potential buyers to send over the money so that I could send them the tuba for a trial week. But all of those sales fell through for one reason or another before I could send the tuba to them. In many cases, the potential buyers simply stopped responding to my emails, and I never heard from them again.

I'm committed to bumping this post because I really want to sell the horn. It's a new year, and I'm trying to move some things around in the apartment. In the hope of selling this horn soon, I'm open to hearing offers.

How well does the horn play in BBb?

I honestly didn't play it all that much with the added tuning slides. I had no reason to do so.

$8K for a MW2165 with the MAW Valves and other stuff is quite the deal.

Even if you toot on it and it's too "big", you can find someone to throw a 2145 leadpipe on there and make a few other small mods that will bring it up to date.

I remember when these things came out and hit the market at $10k. In 1990 or whatever.

Just hoping someone out there has a home for this beast.
