Someone spotted this on Craigslist and posted it in that forum, but it's mine. I didn't post it here since I was initially not interested in shipping, but given that I haven't had many bites locally, I'll ship it to you. $100 shipping in the lower 48 via FedEx/UPS should do it (if it's less than that, I'll refund the difference).

$500 for the horn ($600 shipped). Any less than that, and I'll turn it into a sink.

I don't know a lot about this horn, but it's really cool. Someone better than me played it recently and said that the valves appear to be in good shape, but it seems to have a leak somewhere. I'm not a tuba mechanic so I can't really comment on that synopsis, so buyer beware. I will include a Denis Wick mouthpiece that fits well, and there's an old hard case that's in (surprisingly) good condition that I will include as well.

It appears to be in low pitch, but again, the pitch could be impacted by the weird air leak somewhere so I make no guarantees. False tones appear to play well in my opinion.

Bell is 14", overall height is 32". Any other questions, please let me know. Payment through PayPal F&F (or else you add 3% to cover fees). I have the box it came in, shipping will be easy (enough).

Valve alignment, maybe? Seeing a different valve cap on #2, that can make things a but screwy.

That was a great horn. I sold it on consignment about 2 years ago through David Fedderly's Baltimore Brass shop. I believe it went to the tubist in the National Symphony.
