Conn 24H Trombone

Post by JCalkin »

I have a nice little trombone for sale. This is a 1930 vintage Conn 24H ballroom model. .484” bore, 7” bell. The slide is in great shape, it has a cool looking patina and it’s a great player. There is evidence of previous bell repair and there are a few little dings on the inner slide, but not on the stockings and slide function is not impaired at all. I’d give the slide 8-8.5/10. It’s a great playing little jazz horn, and it makes a noise bigger than its small size would suggest. Original case included. These can be found in this vintage for about $1000 at brass specialty stores, so I’d like to get $800 for this one, including shipping ConUs. Reason for selling? I don’t need two jazz straight tenors.
