I am selling a Conn 14J E flat tuba. I believe this is the correct model number after reviewing the Conn Loyalist info. Horn is in decent shape and the bell and body have had the dents removed. There are a few small dents in the knuckles coming off the valves but they are small. The lacquer is not in great shape but is still there on much of the horn. The mouthpiece receiver was replaced due to damage and is now a small shank receiver. Horn comes with a Wick 3L mouthpiece with proper shank. Mouthpiece was purchased new for use with the horn so is in like new condition. Compression on the valves is still good and all the slides move. I’m not playing the instrument so time for it to find a new home. It is an inexpensive horn for someone who wants to learn E flat tuba. Plays okay. Price is $450 and buyer pays shipping and packing costs. Horn weighs about 18 pounds. Willing to meet and deliver horn within 200 miles of Lansing, Michigan.

Would you consider shipping to England?

I am pulling the horn as I find it to be so far out of tune I couldn’t in good conscience sell it.

Is it just overall flat? I had tubing cut out of the tuning slide on my 14J, decades ago.
