Sold Yamaha YFB-621S F Tuba

For sale is a pristine silver Yamaha YFB-621 F Tuba. It is less than two months old and is essentially in new condition. It hasn't been played anywhere except my house and it's only been set on my lap, the carpet, and its case. I really like everything about this horn- sound, incredible low register, free-blowing...all the attributes that these horns are known for. After playing a rotary horn for nearly 25 years, I just can't get used to the pistons and am uncomfortable playing it. I am reticent about putting it up for sale because I like everything about it except how it feels in my hands, and could get used to it and maybe modify it to fit me better. I think I want to try other options, though.

Final price is $8000 and I'm located near Pittsburgh, PA. I'm willing to travel some if there's interest, and figure how to ship if need be. This is a savings of over $1500 off any retail price I've seen. I'll throw in either the Yamaha 67B4 mouthpiece that came with it or a PT65, your choice.
