Yamaha 822 CC Tuba - $5,500 OBO (plus shipping)
I have a used Yamaha 822 CC tuba for sale. This is an a tremendous representation of the high quality instruments produced by Yamaha.
It is a 5-valve 4/4 CC tuba. 4 piston valves, 1 rotary valve. All valves work extremely well and all slides move freely. Intonation is stellar! For the 5th valveC I have interchangeable slides that can make the 5th valve a flat whole step or a 3rd (both are extremely free blowing).
Overall, the horn is in great shape. Very few small dents. There is some wear in the lacquer all across the horn, but nothing that effects the playability of the horn.
Description of what you would be getting if bought new: Custom Tuba; key of C; 4/4 size; 4 front action monel pistons; 5th thumb activated rotary valve; .768" bore; 19-1/2" yellow brass bell; CBC-81 case
To purchase this horn new, you would pay over $13,000!
This horn will come with a BRAND NEW Altieri gig bag AND the original Yamaha hard case (not pictured).
