Meinl Weston 2000 for sale

Post by bttmbow »

I am selling a Meinl Weston 2000 CC tuba. This is a great horn, I just have another 2000 that suits my work at the opera a bit better, and I don't really need two.

$10,000 w/ R.B. gig bag.
Serious inquiries only; email for more info.

This horn is the real deal! I played it back in January and it is FANTASTIC! I remember it being extremely responsive and having a very nice core of sound. VERY good intonation and open feel. Like most of the 2000's, it projects like mad when you want it to and can be nimble when needed, as well.

Someone's gonna get a great horn......

I don't know, that sounds a little fishy to me...

Sounds like it could be a lemon, but probably not. Still, makes me think...

I just tried this horn for a week! Excellent horn, plays well, all you could ask for in a horn. I have no complaints.

I have 'the 2P' that Chris won the MET with and it's an AMAZING instrument. I've also played the 2000 in question and it is equally as amazing. It blows my mind that nobody has picked this horn up yet.

Good. I can't believe it took so long. You were practically giving it away.

Hello all, I'm just writing to let you know I picked up Chris' MW 2000 and all I can say is what a great instrument to play. It almost plays itself. Anyone looking for a serious horn should give these serious consideration.
