Call Steve Ferguson in L.A. He's a Getzen dealer. Super guy.

Dave Federly also has or had some 1052s

You might also want to look at the classifieds on the OTJF. There is a guy named JSeng42 who had a 1052FD for sale in near mint condition.

I tried all of them. The only problem is, is that Steve will give me $1200 for my conn 88ho with mint condition case, horn and stork mouthpiece, but i still have $750 to pay Brookmays music.he said the $1200 is to apply to the retail price of the 1052fd,and all i would need to pay is $700.So now I need to find someone who will buy this horn for $1200-1250 and take $750 out of that and pay brookmays, and the rest will go to the getzen.

Don't rule out the 1062, if you think that you can live with dependents. It tends to have a more orchestral sound than the 1052 but still has lots of bite if you want it to.
FWIW, I chose that horn for its sound and originally didn't want the dependents, now I have grown to prefer them over independents. I also have my second trigger extended to Db which I find is great for those contemporary big band charts that throw low B's in all over the place - you don't have to go out so far to grab them - its now a flat 4th, and the C is a sharp 3.
