Does anyone have a sousaphone (BBb or CC) they want to sell? I am not picky about how it looks, but it must be in good working condition and have a descent sound and NOT FIBERGLASS, must be brass.

I am driving from Massachusetts to Indiana later this week (Thursday 7/21 and Friday 7/22) and could stop by to give it a try if you're on the way.

It's actually in pretty good shape. The valve plating is very worn, but it plays well anyway.

It's about 7 1/4". I took another look at your catalog pages, and this appears to be the same size horn as the one you just sold. It has the 7 1/4" bell collar, but the 0.687" bore. Interesting.

In that case, this one must have been played quite a bit because the plating is quite worn on the top section and on the valve tubing, where someone's hands would generally hold it.

I have a similar vintage King (ex. Chuck Jckson's), and it sounds amazing, better than my ________________(very famous tuba), and my ____________(nearly as famous tuba). I'd give this one a listen if you have the chance. Peace. ASG
