TRADED

Hello all!
I am selling my lacquer, 5-valve (4p+1r) Meinl Weston 2250 and brown leather Cronkhite gig bag. As you can see in the pictures, both are in excellent condition. The horn and bag were bought new in 2015 and I am the second owner. The horn has typical light scratching from belt buckles or shirt buttons, but otherwise has no cosmetic concerns. The bag has typical wear and tear, but again, nothing of any issue. All work on this horn has been done by Lee Stofer, most notably having all of the pistons vented.
The horn is located in Ames, IA but I am moving to Austin, TX in late July. I'd like to avoid shipping the horn and will be willing to drive 4-6 hours one way for serious buyers. All said and done, I will ship at buyer's expense if need be.
I have used this horn in all facets - solo, chamber, and orchestra, and also my recent master's degree auditions with great success. It's a great horn with an even sound and response, and has one of the best low registers on an F tuba I've played.
I am looking to sell the horn and bag for $9,250. I will hear offers of trades or trades + cash for a B&S PT-10 or similar (PT-15, JBL, etc.), as well as Miraphone Belcanto or similar (Firebird, Elektra, etc.)
Please email me if interested: corey . r . Hatfield @ Gmail . com
