SOLD

This is painful. After a year, I am once again (only) the trombone adjunct. So it's time to upgrade the slushpumps, and this one's gotta go.

It's no looker, but this horn blows BIG. Very powerful sound. Even response throughout registers at all dynamics.

Comes with an Altieri gig bag; no hat. $3000. Local pickup or buyer pays packaging and shipping.

Really a great price for this tuba. The small wrinkles in the bell can be easily smoothed out by a decent tech

How is this different from the MW37? Horizontal vs. vertical tuning slide, but is the horn roughly the same size?

^ Pretty sure this M-W 33 is the detachable-bell version of the M-W 32. Different horn than the "Bill Bell" M-W 37, even though roughly the same 4/4 size.

Correct. Very different.

I used to have an MW30, which is the 4 valve, fixed bell version of this tuba. Very capable instrument.

I'm pretty certain the valve section is bigger than the Bell models. Definitely a 4/4 bugle, though.
