Kanstul 5480 5/4 F Tuba: $4000

Post by Aglenntuba »

Hey guys! I'm selling my Kanstul F tuba to try and downsize a little. It's a huge F tuba with a 17 inch bell and a big dark sound, perfect for someone looking for a do it all horn. This was previously a prototype model for Kanstul, and I've tried to reflect those cosmetic flaws entirely in my photos. It also does not feature any water keys! Everything flows nicely into the 4th slide, and it is a quick and easy pull and tilt. There is a great spot to add a key in the 4th slide, I just never got around to having it done.

I had the 5th valve slide shortened by Vurl Bland, and it had a little bell work done after shipping. This horn has really wide slots, so as long as you buzz right on pitch, you'll be good to go!

I used this horn for my senior recital and most of my graduate school auditions after only a few months of owning it, so there isn't too much of a learning curve to it. The low end especially sounds great!

I'm asking for $4000 or best offer, with shipping or local pick up from Wichita Falls TX or Lubbock TX. Comes with a Tuba World gig bag, but I would only really be comfortable shipping via Greyhound. I will also offer a trade plus cash for a Yamaha 621! Feel free to PM me or email me at aglenntuba@gmail.com" target="_blank. I also have pictures available via email. Thanks for reading!

I have one of these large prototypes as well so if anyone else is interested let me know. I picked it up strictly for the bell and valve set for another project but may not use it after all.
