Hi everyone!,
Newly cleaned and serviced by Flesher Hinton in Colorado!
This tuba was previously owned by Michael Parker and was well maintained for many years. All slides move freely and not too many dings or dents. See pics for the normal wear spots, but luckily, no big damage.
This Yamaha is great in solo and chamber settings and is an all-around great instrument to have, but unfortunately, I have switched to a Mr. P f tuba and no longer use this Yamaha. I've advanced in numerous auditions with this horn and it got me into all of my grad schools. It comes with a nice leather cronkhite case, a schlipf practice mute, a shaved mute that fits this Yamaha, a nice hard case in decent condition, and numerous other accessories (springs, felts, etc). The price is relatively firm.
Only modifications done to the horn was adding a finger ring to the first valve slide for manipulation. Though this horn does blow relatively in tune, I did need to move slides to make it work. But, that's with any tuba...

$8000 firm. I would prefer not to ship, but if shipped, the full payment must be received prior to shipment and all sales final. Located in Longmont, CO.
