Hirsbrunner HB2 4/4 CC $6,750 SOLD

Post by Matthew Gaunt »

Hirsbrunner 4/4 cc tuba. Rotary valve HB2 model. 1981 handmade vintage. Excellent valves and slides. Plating wear and some dings but no real dents. May not look new and shiny but is a great player with solid pitch and response and that Hirsbrunner sound. Have used with Milwaukee Symphony. Comes with gig bag. Shipping at buyers expense. Located in Chicago. $6,750 plus shipping

Do you know the serial number?
A butt tuba spelled backwards is still a butt tuba.

Thanks for the bump and kind words Joe!

Yes, original valves. Prior owner lives somewhere hot and had no issues. My tech checked them out and said great compression - better than many new horns

Can look up serial number tonight
