1960’s Miraphone 186 5 valve cc. . Very nice warm sound- not overly bright like some of the 70’s and later ones. Very easy to play. Projects bigger and fuller than one would suspect. Very good pitch- I find it needs 1 and 2 for e in the staff etc. Has been gone through thoroughly- no real dents etc. Satin silver but a good amount of wear there. Dubro linkages but they seem solid and quiet.

I know these aren’t in fashion, but it is a solid, easy to play horn with very good pitch and sound. Comes with a bag (not great, but still a bag). In Chicago/Milwaukee. $5,650. I would also consider trades (with cash going either way as appropriate) for a rotary f tuba such as a B&S symphonie, gronitz, others considered. Shipping at buyers expense

Great instruments - can you narrow down the date with a (partial) serial number?
ex. 12XX
thanks,
K.

Sweet looking horn! I have a 4v from this era and it is fantastic. If I didn't, I'd be buying this...

Do you have additional photos? and, would you consider trade for compact 4/4 CC?
