FS: Besson Eb recording tuba upper branch/bow--$100 shipped

For sale is the upper branch/bow for a Besson/B&H recording bell E-flat tuba. This is the piece that was “shortened” at the factory to allow for the longer recording bell on these instruments. It also happens to be the branch that was shortened on high-pitch fixed upright bell instruments as well. This particular one comes from a high-pitch fixed bell instrument (of which I’ve included a picture), but again—it’s the same bow that was used on the recording bell instruments.

This branch can be used to convert a fixed upright bell Besson or B&H compensating E-flat tuba to a detachable recording bell tuba. All that is needed, besides this branch, is a female bell receiver and a recording bell. Obviously, Besson-made parts would be more original, but a King receiver and detachable bell also works. I can attest to this because I just finished modifying a B&H Imperial E-flat tuba in this way (using a King bell). I ended up acquiring an additional one of these branches while I was working on the project, which is why this one is for sale.
You can read more about these recording bell Bessons, and what this branch accomplishes, here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=78150" target="_blank
Asking $100, including shipping in the US (please contact me for shipping overseas). I might also be willing to trade for a King (1240/2340 or similar) recording bell.
